Nicole Driessens and Ivo van den Baar are an artist and designer.
Under the company name WANDSCHAPPEN they develop since 1999 autonomous art, projects and design, along with fellow artists and crafts people from Rotterdam.
WANDSCHAPPEN develops and manufactures design objects commissioned for renowned Dutch designer labels like Marcel Wanders Studio, Hella Jongerius, Thomas Eyck, Christien Meindertsma, MOOOI, Jens Praet, DRY and Pepe Heykoop.

For their work, the immediate living and working environment is often the starting point.
The Felt Plants represent the settling of residents of 160 different nationalities in Rotterdam Charlois. “You feel at home, where you grow your own plants.” The collection is based on traditional plants that can be seen in Dutch windowsills.
Their latest project DNA Charlois started from contemporary cultural heritage in the neighbourhood, the stories, customs and handicrafts of all nationalities. This is the social, cultural and economic significance of Design, Industry and Crafts hundred sixty-fold put down. With Het verzameld breiwerk van Loes Veenstra uit de 2e Carnissestraat and a flashmob DNA Charlois officially started in November 2012.

In all its versatility and manifestations Driessens & van den Baar WANDSCHAPPEN get national and international attention and appreciation.
